The IDC Staff Instructor course trains Master Scuba Diver Trainers to act as assistants during instructor-level training courses. The course overviews the entire PADI Instructor Development programme and requires candidates to participate in evaluation training, demonstrate role model teaching skills and dive theory knowledge.
The Fun Part
Because PADI IDC Staff Instructors are an integral part of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), you set the stage for moving on to PADI Course Director as you present topics in the IDC and help shape PADI Divemasters and Assistant Instructors into PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors.
Many dive centre or resort management positions require this level of Instructor experience and training, making this an important step if you are considering a career in a Dive Centre or you want to open a dive shop or resort.

The price for our PADI IDC Staff Instructor course is 22,750 Thai Baht. This price does not include the PADI Materials nor the PADI application fee. You will also need to purchase a PADI Course Director Manual and the Evaluation Slates necessary to take this course - please see our Prices page for details. At the end of the training you will need to pay PADI AUD$161 for the application fee.
